Apache Auron, Reqsign and ResilientDB become Top-Level Projects

The Apache Software Foundation announced that Apache Auron, Apache Reqsign and Apache ResilientDB have become Top-Level Projects. Auron and ResilientDB graduated from the Apache Incubator, while Reqsign was established as a standalone project after maturing as a subproject of Apache OpenDAL. Auron is a native vectorized execution accelerator for big data query engines, with integrations for Apache Spark, Apache Flink and the Paimon, Iceberg and Hudi lakehouse formats, which the ASF says runs twice as fast as Apache Spark 3.5 while using roughly half the cluster resources. Reqsign signs HTTP requests to cloud services without heavy vendor SDKs, is written in Rust and supports AWS, Azure Storage, Google Cloud, Aliyun OSS, Huawei Cloud OBS, Oracle Cloud and Tencent COS, and is already used by Apache OpenDAL, uv and Lance. ResilientDB is a modular permissioned framework built on Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus.
