ClusterShell joins the High Performance Software Foundation

The High Performance Software Foundation welcomed ClusterShell, an event-driven Python library and command-line toolset for running commands in parallel across HPC clusters, as a new project under LF Europe stewardship. ClusterShell was created at France's CEA to administer some of Europe's largest supercomputers and was supported for more than a decade by Stanford Research Computing; lead maintainer Stephane Thiell called HPSF a neutral, sustainable home, and the project plans performance work for very large node sets while keeping its existing Technical Charter governance.
