Fleet Device Management announced that it joined Project Glasswing, Anthropic’s controlled-access program for the Claude Mythos Preview model, to evaluate how frontier AI can strengthen the security of device management systems, MDM protocols, and the infrastructure that supports them. Fleet said the work will focus on understanding endpoint state, identifying remediation priorities, and increasing the speed and safety of internal security operations, citing its Road to AI in IT research finding that 79 percent of organizations take more than a day to deploy critical patches while attackers exploit vulnerabilities within hours. Because Fleet is open source, the company says it will share what it learns openly so the device-management and security community can build on it.
