FreeCAD funds three grant projects in its Q3 2026 round

The FreeCAD Project Association funded three projects in its Q3 2026 grant round, committing EUR 2,000 to Morten Vajhoj for TechDraw topological naming and automatic feature identification, EUR 4,000 to Joao Matos for improved 3D-view rendering with multipass infrastructure, linear HDR color handling, physically based materials, ambient occlusion and directional-light shadows, and EUR 3,360 to Amritpal Singh for KiCad integration in Ondsel Lens through the separately sponsored Ondsel Onwards fund. The EUR 9,360 total leaves about EUR 640 of the round's EUR 10,000 budget, and payments are made once each project is completed.
