The Open Source Security Foundation announced at its Community Day Europe event in Prague that A-Team Systems, Emphere, DACHS IT GMBH and JetBrains have joined as General Members, framing the growth as a direct contribution to the long-term sustainability of the open source projects that underpin modern infrastructure. OpenSSF also released Cyber Resilience Act resources, including a CRA Readiness practitioner’s guide and role-based user journeys, and published an Ericsson Software Technology case study describing how the company removed private forks and contributed more than 1,400 dependency updates and security fixes upstream to meet the regulation. Other third-quarter milestones include the OpenBao v2.6 secrets-management release and BOMHort entering the OpenSSF Sandbox.
