The Processing Foundation announced Riot Games as a Gold Tier corporate supporter of its Fellowship Program, funded through the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. The grant backs a dedicated Gaming Fellowship track starting in 2027, in which a Los Angeles-based fellow will co-design an open-source toolkit with young people working in and around games, with leading voices in the field providing mentorship and the result released openly for the community to use and remix. The foundation says the fellowship has backed artists and technologists since 2013, giving rise to widely used tools such as p5.js and the p5.js Editor.
